Meet Our Senior Pastor
Pastor Daniel Kelly Jr.
Pastor Daniel Kelly Jr. is a native of Brooklyn, NY. He attended Flatbush School and was an active member of the Brooklyn Faith Seventh-Day Adventist church. During his time there, he was also a proud member of the Brooklyn Faith Knights Pathfinder Club, where he successfully led their drum corps for several years. At 17, while attending Northeastern Academy, he received his calling to ministry. After receiving the call, he enrolled in Oakwood University, where he studied Pastoral and Evangelistic Theology. He was awarded the Homiletics Award in 2008-2009 for exceptional preaching skills. Pastor Kelly has led numerous crusades, prayer weeks, and revivals and has been a guest speaker at various worship services worldwide. He firmly believes that the church is a haven for flawed individuals.
Pastor Kelly recently served as the Senior Pastor of the Trinity Worship Center SDA Church in Charlotte, NC. He holds a record of being the longest-tenured Pastor to serve Trinity for seven years. One of his most notable accomplishments is the recent purchase of their church building for over $3 million after 15 years of renting. The scripture that inspires him the most is 1 Corinthians 9:16, which reads, "For though I preach the Gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!"
In Pastor Kelly’s words, he says, “I love the Lord, I love His people, and I love preaching His word. I cannot wait until He returns.”
